This Privacy Policy describes how Cadenza English (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you access cadenzaenglish.com, sign up for our placement test, participate in lessons, or use related services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that helps us deliver the learning experience, support you, and improve our products:
- Account details such as name, email address, country, time zone, and preferred language.
- Learning data generated through placement tests, Dojo practice, live cohorts, homework submissions, AI feedback, and coaching notes.
- Audio and video you record during speaking drills, shadowing activities, or live sessions.
- Billing information processed securely by our payment partner (Stripe). We never store your full card details.
- Device and analytics data captured via cookies, logs, and similar technologies (see Section 6).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Authenticate your account and provide access to lessons, packs, and class recordings.
- Generate personalized study plans, flashcards, and AI feedback tailored to your level.
- Facilitate payments, subscriptions, promotions, and account management.
- Respond to support requests, investigate reported issues, and prevent abuse.
- Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve curricula, AI models, and platform stability.
- Send service announcements, policy updates, and optional marketing communications (you can opt out anytime).
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your data. We only share personal information when necessary to deliver the service, comply with the law, or protect our community:
- Service providers such as hosting, analytics, infrastructure, and email partners who act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.
- Payment processors (Stripe) to handle billing and subscriptions.
- Coaches and teaching staff who require access to your assignments, recordings, and ledger to deliver feedback.
- Legal or regulatory authorities when we must comply with a valid request or protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers if we merge, acquire, or sell assets; any successor will honor this policy or provide notice and choices.
4. AI & Speech Processing
AI tools power our flashcard creation, grading assistance, and speech analysis. When you submit text or audio:
- We store the original submission and AI output so you and your coach can review it later and track progress.
- We may use anonymized aggregates to improve prompts, rubrics, and detection of common errors.
- Audio routed through Azure Speech or similar services follows each provider’s security and retention policies; we do not authorize third-party reuse for training their public models.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We keep transaction records, coaching logs, and compliance documentation for at least seven (7) years. You may request deletion under applicable law (see Section 7), though we may keep certain data when legally required or necessary for legitimate interests (e.g., fraud prevention).
6. Cookies & Analytics

Cookies may store anonymous identifiers, device details, and page events. You can modify cookie preferences via your browser settings or through future in-app consent tools. Disabling cookies may limit functionality.
